Life is a Series of Possibilities - 30-Day Journal
Hello, my dear ones!
Happy Sunday! This is the start of a new day, a new week, with a full moon tomorrow, and new opportunities for us to dive into. I just realized we have only four and a half months left in this "year"—can you imagine it?
Normally, I would focus on what’s left to do and what I haven’t yet accomplished. But today, I decided to change the playlist—(I’d say change the record, but I don’t know if you all would get the joke. Hahaha)—and focus on everything I’ve completed in my lifetime, and those times when I didn’t think I’d make it, but the Most High brought me through.
So let’s take a deep breath together and be in the now for just a moment.
That's better!
Checking in with ourselves
How are you guys feeling lately? I would love to know. We go through our days, months, and years, rarely checking in on ourselves until something alarms us to do so. Starting today, I’d like to invite you to join me for a daily 30-day check-in. Then, next month, we can share the impact of this daily practice and what we discovered about ourselves. Here are a few prompts to get started:
- What has been occupying my mind as of late?
- How does my body feel, is there any discomfort?
- What is my current mood: sad, happy, fearful, anxious...
I will check in with you guys next month.
Looking at failures as opportunities for growth
If you’re anything like me, when I heard this for the umpteenth time, I rolled my eyes hard. Like, for real, I did not want to hear that BS. lol. But recently, I did an episode where I discussed how "failures" can symbolize information we need to gather to complete our journey. Sometimes, we might have to start over in certain areas of our lives more than once. Check out the short episode here.
What I have been up to?
Well, I’m still in transition and haven’t yet gotten the green light on where to move next. I swear I’m almost accepting being a nomad, lol. But deep in my heart, I crave a yard (or a balcony) where I can plant something—maybe some green onions—and enjoy my artsy home. What do you crave?
I am getting myself in gear (mentally) for going back to school next month so I can finish my Behavioral Health Science degree. My "buy me a cup of coffee" fund is open ==>> $raphasilva (no pressure - lol)
I wish you guys the best week ahead.
Love, Raphaella.
